Bishop Sports & Leisure is a leading supplier of sports and leisure equipment, specialising in primary sport. With a customer base that spans the UK and beyond, they operate through a robust mail-order catalogue and e-commerce platform. Their partnership with Creative dates back to the early 1990s, a relationship built on trust, shared goals, and continuous digital transformation.
The Challenge
As Bishop Sports & Leisure grew, so did the complexity of their operations. Initially using Sage for its accounting capabilities, they found themselves needing a more integrated system to manage stock, sales, and warehousing. Paper-based stock cards were no longer viable, and the business required a scalable solution that could evolve with their needs.
The Solution
Creative introduced Bishop Sports & Leisure to Navision, a comprehensive ERP system that replaced Sage and streamlined their operations. The transition in 2007 marked a significant milestone, enabling the business to manage inventory, sales, and warehousing from a single platform.
More recently, Bishop made the strategic decision to migrate to the Cloud, driven by a desire to reduce reliance on on-site servers and enhance system security. Creative provided expert guidance throughout the process, ensuring a smooth and secure transition.
